Earlier this week I was asked if there was a rule to what should be in a woman’s wardrobe.  While there are no “official” rules, there are definitely some basic items/pieces that I feel everyone woman should own that will never go out of style.

Here’s my list:

-Basic Tees, in white, grey and black.
-Button Down Oxford Shirts- white, stripes and pastel blue or pink.
-Boyfriend Jeans
-Skinny Jeans, in dark wash
-Wide-leg trousers in dark wash
-Pencil Skirt in black
-Evening Gown in black
-Weekend dress (for girls day out)
-Sexy date night dress (night on the town with that special someone)
-All Weather Jacket/Coat in tan or beige
-Leather Jacket
-Black Blazer
-Denim Jacket
-Comfortable Ballet Flats
-Wedge Sandal
-Black Pumps
-Riding Boots in black and/or brown
-Belts: one wide and one skinny belt
-Purse: clutch, tote and cross body
-Statement Necklace
-Chunky Cocktail Ring
-Stud Earrings (gold, silver and/or diamond)
-Simple Bracelet (gold or silver)

Hello Dahlings!

The Fall/Winter 2013 season is just around the corner…wow the time sure does fly. Time to start putting together our wardrobe for the new season. Out with the swimwear and in with the sweaters, blazers and scarves! I’m so delighted about the comeback of the traditional Black and White Color Trend for the upcoming season. There’s just something to be said about the simplicity of it. Classic yet sleek, timeless and sophisticated. Reminds me of Old Hollywood!

Making a major statement this Fall will be easier perhaps than in seasons past; mainly because just about everyone has a few basic black and white pieces in their closet…or at least they should. Try pairing a simple white T-Shirt with a basic black pencil skirt; a pair of sassy black pumps and blazer, skinny belt in your favorite color and you are well on your way to a night on the town with the girls!

These Are A Few of My Favorite Things!.

I hope that you are off to a great start to your summer! I know I am! The kiddos are out of school and I have been busier than ever! Recently, I was stopped and asked what kind of make up I use so I thought I would share with you my favorite make up items for the summer.

I am absolutely in love with the MAC Mineralized Make Up! Why….well it goes on so smoothly and gives my skin a certain glow that I have not been able to achieve with other brands. All over coverage that seems to last me all day long! Now what girl doesn’t love that???? So here you go ladies, my favorites that I just can’t live without:
